About Letter Press

Letter Press is a small project centred around letters, correspondence, and print. It began in 2025, inspired by the literary exchanges of the past.

Concerned primarily with writing addressed to someone, Letter Press encourages correspondence between writers, but also between friends, or anyone inclined to pick up a pen.

At the centre of the project is a print magazine. Each issue brings together contemporary work from independent and small presses, with each piece followed by a response from another writer. The result is a loose chain of correspondence.

Alongside this, we publish a small selection of printed essays and letter-writing materials.

Everything is printed and bound by hand.
